The GIE7000 is an 8-port 100M Layer 2 managed switch designed for PROFINET industrial Ethernet. It supports PROFINET RT real-time communication and meets the consistency class CC-B. All ports are 100M copper interfaces, and the device supports DIN-rail mounting for flexible deployment in various scenarios.
Its management system complies with PROFINET, STP/RSTP/MSTP, MRP, 802.1Q VLAN, QoS, LLDP, RMON, port mirroring, and other protocols. It provides comprehensive management features including port configuration, statistics, access control, diagnostics, quick setup, and online firmware updates. Access options include WEB, SSH, Telnet, and SNMP. A GSD device description file is available, enabling simple and unified configuration and diagnostics via STEP 7 or TIA Portal. The intuitive interface ensures a smooth user experience.
A RESET button supports system reboot and factory reset. Dual independent power inputs keep the device running if one power supply fails. When failures or alarms occur on power, ports, or other configurable events, the ALM indicator lights up and the relay-connected alarm device triggers an alert for fast on-site troubleshooting. The hardware features fanless design, low power consumption, wide temperature and voltage tolerance, and has passed rigorous industrial EMC tests. It is well suited for factory automation, process automation, smart grids, rail transport, smart and safe cities, new energy, intelligent manufacturing, military projects, and other industrial applications.
