The RMC100 Series of position, velocity, and pressure/force motion controllers support 12Mb PROFIBUS DP communications. 

The RMC100 Series is fully supported and readily available, but not recommended for new designs. For new designs, consider Delta Motion's RMC200 and RMC75 motion controller series with PROFINET.

The RMC100 supports feedback options such as:

• Magnetostrictive linear displacement transducers
• Resolver
• Quadrature encoders
• Analog

With the ability to mix and match feedback devices and synchronize two to eight axes per module, using full PID with feed-forwards, these one- and two-millisecond closed-loop controllers are ideal for:

• Presses, Testing
• Injection/Blow molding
• Packaging equipment
• Indexing/Transfer lines
• Edgers/Headrigs/Veneer lathes
• Pinch Rollers/Winders
• Casting/Forging
• Palletizers/Stackers
